I just got an Old Town??? Any way of telling the model by serial number? Of all the "major" canoe manufacturerers commonly discussed here, Old Town is one of the few that are "commonly" described as being known for answering questions in a timely manner. I bet they will tell you what model boat you have if you tell them the serial number. I tend to doubt that it's a fiberglass canoe if it has plastic seats that are molded to the hull.
Ever find yourself daydreaming about canoeing down reed-lined rivers or paddling out for an early coffee by a pine clad estuary? There are many models out there with various styles and designs. We are currently oversold on many kayaks. Select products are still available. You can also use Murphy's Oil Soap. We do not recommend waxing your hull with a paste wax, such as most car waxes. The wax fills in any scratches or gouges, then dries to a white color, making the damage more apparent.
